Can I wear my Ripa® sport sandals outside?
Yes, Yes! Unlike many fleece lined sandals, or slippers, Ripa sport sandals have athletic soles designed to be worn outside! That’s why they are made with comfortable EVA/rubber and have ribbing to give you maximum traction.
Are they waterproof?
Ripa sport sandals are water resistant, not water proof. Sheepskin is naturally water resistant, so small amounts of water naturally beads at the surface. If you’re looking for even greater resistance or repellency, you can spray your fleece sandals with a water repellant shoe product.
Are my Ripa sport sandals washable?
Yes. We recommend gently hand washing them with cold water and a mild soap. Rinse, then simply air dry. They will fluff naturally, to a curly texture. Do not machine wash or put in the dryer.
Will they keep my feet warm?
Sheep skin is a wool product which will help keep your feet comfortably warm in an open shoe. Since Ripa sport sandals are made with genuine sheep skin, they will keep your feet much warmer than traditional unlined sandals or flip flops.
Will my Ripa sport sandals be too hot for my feet and make my feet sweat?
Unlike synthetic fleece, real sheep skin is a natural fleece that lets air circulate through it. It breathes, enabling your feet to maintain a comfortable temperature without sweat build up.
The fleece on my second pair of Ripa sport sandals looks different than my first pair. Why?
Ripa sport sandals are made with only genuine sheepskin. Therefore as nature has it, genuine sheep skin will have some variation in texture or color. Enjoy it! It’s a sign that it’s not synthetic; it’s a product of nature’s beauty!
What is the return policy?
When purchased through this website, Ripa sport sandals can be returned within 3 weeks of the invoice date if they have not been worn. They must be returned in original, clean condition with no foot imprints. The tags must still be attached to the sandal and in the original package bag. Ripa Wear Inc. is not responsible for shipping costs to return or replace. Please see our section on return policy for more details. Retail returns/exchanges should go through the store you purchased them at.
